Bon Voyage Concert March 3, 2026

State Champs!

The Achille Quartet won 1st place at the Washington State Solo and Ensemble contest on April 24, 2026, with their performance of the 1st movement of the Debussy String Quartet in G minor, Op. 10. The members of the Achille Quartet are Eide Tan on 1st violin, Elliott Pyon on 2nd violin, Selina Lai on viola, and Eli Paek on cello. Here is their award-winning performance.

New York Tour 2026

A slideshow of photos from the New York trip with Chamber Orchestra and Sinfonia March 5-8, 2026, featuring their performance Dance of the Camorrists by Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari. Highlights of the tour include the 911 Memorial, Wall Street, New York Philharmonic concert, Broadway show, Big Apple Music Festival, Medieval Times, Central Park, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

PLU Orchestra Festival

Newport Concert Orchestra students participated in the PLU Orchestra Festival in October of 2025. They experienced the joy of performing in the magnificent Lagerquist Hall, participating in clinics with college professors, and connecting with their peers. Orchestra Retreat 2025

This was the first year we shared a day at retreat with the Tyee Orchestra doing sectionals and having a combined rehearsal for the Fall Concert.
