Many of you work for companies that generously match employee donations, including volunteering hours. This is a wonderful opportunity to double your impact with every hour you volunteer with us! Whether you serve as a chaperone on trips, assist at retreats, participate in competition related activities, help during school events like KIV, Knights Ballet and concerts, your time can significantly boost our funding. For SONO members, even your meeting time qualifies for this program.
Here’s How You Can Help:
- Check if your employer offers a matching donations program. Many local companies like Microsoft, Boeing, Starbucks, and Google participate.
- Volunteer for upcoming NHS Orchestra events. Every hour counts, and we will provide all necessary documentation for your employer’s matching program.
- Designate your donations to “SONO” (Supporters of Newport Orchestra), not NHS, to ensure your contributions go directly to supporting our orchestra activities.
